Summer is all about light, fresh flavors and there’s nothing that screams summer more than this super healthy Pineapple, Orange, Spinach and Banana Smoothie!
The key to this tasty drink is to use frozen banana slices, instead of ice. The frozen banana adds a creamy texture to the smoothie. Simply take old bananas, slice them up and place in a ziplock freezer bag so you always have frozen banana slices on hand.
Handful baby spinach ½ an orange – peeled with any pips removed 1 cup pineapple chunks 1 cup frozen banana slices ¼ cup water, or coconut water
Pulse approximately 5 times before blending until smooth.
This basic recipe can be jazzed up by adding other ingredients such as mango, lime juice, coconut yogurt, chia seeds and even mint!
