Mel B Gets Restraining Order Against Estranged Husband

The divorce drama surrounding former Spice Girls Mel B and her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte, is heating up.
Lawyers for Mel B, who stars as a judge on America’s Got Talent got a restraining order on Monday, which forces Belafonte to leave the family home and stay away from Melanie and her three children. Source: BroadImage
Mel B alleges to have suffered horrifying abuse at the hands of her husband including brutal beatings, sexual exploitation and threats to release sex tapes.
The singer and TV star also alleges her husband of ten years got the nanny pregnant and forced Mel into having threesomes with random women, according to TMZ.

Mel B came under public scrutiny after appearing on a 2014 episode of X Factor covered in bruises – scrutiny which forced Belafonte to tweet he was not an abuser. Source: XFactor
According to TMZ Mel B tried to leave Belafonte several times but claims he “threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way.”
Belafonte, who left the couple’s Hollywood Hills home on Monday evening has denied the allegations.
