Harry Styles Reportedly in Talks to Play Prince Eric in ‘The Little Mermaid’ Redo!

He used to be the heartthrob capturing teenage girls’ hearts as a member of boyband One Direction, now Harry Styles may be catching the heart of Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

According to The Wrap, Styles, who branched out as a solo singer after One Direction disbanded, is in early talks to play Prince Eric in the Rob Marshall directed film.
As Prince Eric, Styles would appear opposite actress and singer Halle Bailey, who has been picked to play the lovestruck mermaid Ariel.
This won’t be the first acting gig for Styles – he made his first movie debut in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.
