Gwen Stefani Thanks Blake Shelton for ‘Kissing me Back to Life’

Accepting her award for Glamour Women of the Year, Gwen Stefani reflected on how 2016 has been one of her best years and had one person in particular to thank – Blake Shelton. Source: Glamour
Taking to the stage, Stefani thanked her children and her parents and “anyone that ever listened to my music.” She also thanked her Voice co-host and boyfriend Blake Shelton for “kissing me back to life.”
Referring to her heartbreaking divorce from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, just a year and a half ago, Gwen revealed, “I was in a pool of tears. I was so disappointed. I was so low that I didn’t think there was any way that I could pick myself up. And I remembered God gave me that gift (of music). I knew I was chosen to do that.”
The 47-year-old looked ageless in a black and white Marchesa gown that showed off her gorgeous figure.
