Carrie Underwood Recovering After Nasty Fall

Just days after co-hosting the CMA’s, singer Carrie Underwood sustained serious injuries after she fell on steps outside her Nashville home.
According to The Tennessean, Carrie suffered a broken wrist, along with cuts and abrasions that warranted a trip to a local hospital.
In a statement to The Tennessean from Underwood’s spokesperson, Carrie thanked fans for their well wishes, adding her recovery will “take some time.”

Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.

Carrie took to Twitter to thank fans, reassuring them, “I’ll be alright…might just take some time.”
She also gave a special shoutout to hubby Mike Fisher who traveled home to Nashville to take care of her following the fall, tweeting, “Glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.”
