In an interview with Vogue, Ashley revealed the swimsuit company came up with the idea of a mother-daughter modeling shoot and she fell in love with the idea.
“I was like, ‘That is such a good idea, don’t even ask her – I’m going to tell her! She has no choice!’” Ashley told Vogue.

Meanwhile Ashley’s mom Linda revealed to Vogue it was nice having her daughter on set to calm her nerves, revealing, “Here I am at 53 years old and in a hot pink string bikini, but I was kind of in love with that swimsuit!”
