Frasier is the latest 90’s television show to get a reboot, courtesy of the new Paramount streaming service.

The show, which featured Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frasier Crane, was a spinoff series from Cheers and ran from 1993 until 2004.

Grammer confirmed he would reprise his role for the show, saying, “Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I’d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world.”

“I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane,” Grammer revealed.

The announcement did not confirm which other members of the original cast would return for the revamp.
