In a record-breaking Beverly Hills real estate transaction, Uber co-founder Garrett Camp has shelled out some serious cash for a prime piece of 90210 property.
According to Variety, Camp – along with longtime partner Eliza Nguyen – have purchased a gorgeous Beverly Hills estate for a whopping $72.5 million, ranking the transaction as the most ever paid for a home in the glitzy California area.
Unfortunately, for those of us wanting to take a peek at what a $70 million-plus property looks like, photos are scarce. Variety is reporting the property was never publicly listed for sale, although it was marketed for $80 million by luxury real estate broker, The Agency.
According to Variety, the ultra-modern compound consists of over an acre of land in Trousdale Estates and is situated on a rare street-to-street lot allowing for a discreetly hidden entrance. The property reportedly showcases a Bali-inspired decor with an expansive zero-edge pool with a sun-bathing friendly Baja shelf.
The Los Angeles Times reports the pricey 12,119 square foot residence comes complete with 7 bedrooms and a separate guest house.
