Do you have firm favorites you always fill your cart with at Trader Joe’s? On the lookout for other fan favorites to try? Trader Joe’s has released its 12th Annual Customer Choice Awards, giving fans a look at its most beloved products.
Along with categories such as ‘Favorite Vegan/Vegetarian Item,’ ‘Favorite Sweet Treat,’ and Favorite Snack,’ Trader Joe’s’ most important category may be ‘Favorite Overall’ – can you guess the winner?
According to Trader Joe’s ‘Favorite Overall’ category, the top five items are:
Fifth Place: Unexpected Cheddar
At first bite, Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar tastes like an aged Cheddar. And then something unexpected happens,” Trader Joe’s reveals. “The smooth creaminess of the Cheddar gives way to a tangy flavor and slightly crumbly texture, a subtle hint of salt crystallization is discovered, and it begins to taste like an aged Parmesan.”
Fourth Place: Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
It goes without saying Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups made the top five thanks to a delicious combination of creamy peanut butter encased in seductive dark chocolate.
Third Place: Cauliflower Gnocchi
This freezer item is a staple for most households thanks to its versatility in creating quick and healthy evening meals.
Second Place: Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend
Whether you sprinkle it on avocado toast, roast veggies, or scrambled eggs, Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend is always a fan fave and a pantry staple. The blend of black and white sesame seeds, dried minced garlic and onion, sea salt flakes, and poppy seeds, can be sprinkled on so many items to give a savory kick like no other.
First Place: Mandarin Orange Chicken
Trader Joe’s iconic Mandarin Orange Chicken came out tops on the list, which isn’t surprising since it’s been a fan favorite for more than a decade.
“It’s no surprise this one’s a Crew favorite. For more than a decade it was everyone’s favorite–and we have evidence (in the form of our annual Customer Choice Awards) to prove it,” Trader Joe’s revealed. “In fact, it’s been a favorite since it was first introduced way back in 2004.”
