When it comes to scrambled eggs most of us are leaving out one crucial ingredient that can make this easy to throw together meal all that extra delicious.
According to
Real Simple that little extra something comes in the form of soy sauce – something we all have stashed in the fridge.
Instead of adding kosher salt,
Real Simple suggest adding a dash of soy sauce before the eggs hit the pan so that the saltiness gets dispersed throughout the egg mixture.
One of the genius reasons for using soy sauce in place of salt is that salt can sink to the bottom, whereas whisking in a dash of soy sauce means every bit of egg gets a delicious hit of salty goodness.
If you are on a gluten-free diet,
Real Simple suggest substituting with tamari.
