Target customers in Florida, Texas and throughout the Southeast will soon be able to use Target’s ‘Drive Up’ service in a new announcement from the retailer.
Similar to Walmart’s successful grocery curbside pick up program, Target customers will be able to place their orders via the Target app by selecting Drive Up as the fulfillment option. Target will notify customers when their orders are ready – normally within one to two hours, customers will then have their orders delivered directly to their car by a Target employee within two minutes of pulling into a designated Drive Up spot.
“The Drive Up expansion is another great way we’re leveraging stores, supply chain and digital technologies to better serve guests, and making Target the easiest place to shop,” a statement from the company read.
Target plans to continue expanding Drive Up to nearly 1,000 stores by the end of the year.
