Ree Drummond Reveals Her Favorite Baked Good

Ree Drummond is the queen of comfort, down-home cooking courtesy of her Pioneer Woman hit show and when it comes to her favorite baked goods she is all about fall flavors.
According to Taste of Home, Ree revealed one of her favorite baked goods is a pumpkin scone – and despite being a domestic goddess she always uses canned pumpkin.
“If you make your own pumpkin puree from pumpkins, you can’t control the water content…the stuff in the can is controlled.” Ree shared with Taste of Home, adding she made homemade pumpkin puree in the past but was disappointed with how it turned out.
Not only does Ree love a pumpkin scone, but she also loves to add mini chocolate chips to her recipe for an extra decadent touch.
Ree has shared on her blog she spends 9 months of the year wishing for pumpkin season, telling fans, “once September 1 rolls around, I am ALL IN.”
