Pink Donates $500,000 to Australian Fire Relief Efforts

As Australia battles some of the most devastating bushfires in history, Pink is pledging to help by donating $500,000.
The singer told fans she is “totally devastated” by the images coming out of Australia and shared a list of local fire stations and their donation pages with her 7.3 million Instagram followers.
“I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires,” Pink revealed on Instagram. “I am pledging a donation of $500,000 directly to the local fire services that are battling so hard on the frontlines. My heart goes out to our friends and family in Oz.”
According to People, over 130 fires continue to burn with the bushfires claiming the lives of at least 17 people and millions of mammals, birds and reptiles. Since the bushfires began in September, it is estimated over 11 million acres have been scorched.
