Olivia Newton-John took to Facebook to announce she has been diagnosed once again with breast cancer, revealing the back pain she was struggling with on tour turns out to be breast cancer that has spread to her back.
The 68-year-old singer revealed she will be reluctantly postponing her June U.S and Canada tour dates, writing, “The back pain that initially caused [Olivia] to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum.”
The Facebook post continued, “In addition to natural wellness therapies, Olivia will complete a short course of photo radiation therapy and is confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows.”
Olivia was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and underwent a partial mastectomy and chemotherapy.
