Netflix to Raise Prices on Popular Plan

Netflix has announced a price increase on a couple of their most popular plans.
The streaming media company will raise their popular $10.99 plan by $1, and their $11.99 premium plan will bump up an additional $2 to $13.99 per month.
Netflix’s basic $7.99 plan will remain the same – for now.
The company released a statement regarding the price increase, saying, “From time to time, Netflix plans and pricing are adjusted as we add more exclusive TV shows and movies, introduce new product features and improve the overall Netflix experience to help members find something great to watch even faster.”
The company has already implemented the updated pricing for a new member and will begin increasing prices for current subscribers on October 19. Current members will be given a 30-day notice of the price increase.
