Leonardo DiCaprio Donates $1 Million to Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

Leonardo DiCaprio has pledged $1 million from the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

DiCaprio pledged the donation to the new United Way Harvey Recovery Fund, where all proceeds will go directly towards recovery efforts caused by the powerful storm.

Leonardo joins a myriad of other celebrities who have donated money to help those who have lost everything due to Hurricane Harvey, including Ellen Degeneres, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Ruby Rose, Rachael Ray, the Kardashian – Jenner clan, and the band Fall Out Boy, among others. Sandra Bullock also recently donated $1 million to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts.
