Keeping Up With the Kardashians momager Kris Jenner rocked a totally different look for the 2019 Met Gala, ditching her trademark black short hair for a platinum blonde wig.

Wearing an outfit designed by Tommy Hilfiger, Jenner revealed to E! she focused on “channeling David Bowie” for this year’s Gala, sharing it was how she dressed through the ’80s.
According to Cosmopolitan, Jenner had youngest daughter Kylie to thank for the dramatically different look, who told her “mom, there’s no black hair tonight – you’re going blonde.”
The theme for the 2019 Met Gala was “camp” – a term described by Susan Sontag in her 1964 essay as “the essence of camp is its love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration.”
