Khloe Kardashian and her ex, Tristan Thompson, are expecting their second child together via a surrogate.
The former couple are parents to four-year-old daughter, True.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” a representative for the Kardashian family said in a press release. “Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so Khloe can focus on her family.”
According to Page Six, Khloe and Thompson are expecting a baby boy, conceived before Thompson’s cheating scandal in December in which he fathered another child with fitness model Maralee Nichols.
“Khloe has always wanted a little brother for True and decided to go ahead with having the baby with the support of her family,” a source told Page Six regarding Khloe’s decision.
According to People, Khloe and Tristan officially ended their romantic relationship in January of this year, following the Thompson’s cheating scandal.
“Khloe and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters,” a source told People.
The Good American designer has always been open about her struggles with fertility on episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, where she documented her journey to try and conceive a second child.
“Khloe knows the value of siblings and growing up in a house full of kids and wants that for True,” a source shared with E! News last year.
