It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends…#grateful @nickjonas 📹/📷: @calebjordanlee @josevilla @josephradhik

Celebrating both of their cultures, the couple said “I do” in a Christian ceremony officiated by Jonas’ pastor father, Kevin Jonas Sr., on Saturday before honoring Priyanka’s Indian heritage with a Hindu ceremony on Sunday.
According to People, the couple celebrated both ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur where both Priyanka and Nick wore traditional Indian outfits for the Hindu ceremony and Ralph Lauren for their Christian wedding.
“It’s super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that honors her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to have a Western ceremony that honors Nick’s Christian upbringing,” a source told People.
Keeping with Hindu tradition, both Priyanka and Nick participated in a Mehendi ceremony before exchanging vows which, according to People, gathers all of the women together as the bride receives henna designs on her hands and feet. Priyanka and Nick’s Mehendi ceremony also included the men.
