Nicki Minaj has announced she is retiring from the music industry.
The singer, who revealed she will soon wed boyfriend Kenneth Petty, revealed the news via Twitter.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Minaj’s surprise announcement has been met with some skepticism since she has recently been hinting at a fifth album.
Sources close to the star revealed to TMZ Minaj was busy recording new music in the studio a few weeks ago and even made plans to record with several artists over the last couple of days.
