Meghan Markle’s Mom Reveals Favorite Part of the Wedding Festivities

After watching her daughter walk down the aisle to marry a royal prince, Meghan Markle’s mom, Doria, reflected on her favorite part of the lavish wedding festivities.
According to Us Weekly, a source close to Doria shared her favorite part was actually meeting Queen Elizabeth II!

“Doria is saying the biggest highlight of the wedding, of course after watching her daughter say ‘I do’ to the man she loves, was meeting the queen,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively. “It would have been extremely intimidating for anyone, but Meghan and Harry really did a marvelous job of preparing her with what to expect.”
Us Weekly is reporting Doria, who works as a yoga instructor, met the Queen for afternoon tea the day before the royal wedding, along with Meghan and Harry at Windsor Castle. Prior to tea with the Queen, Doria met with Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate. She also spent time with the youngest royals – Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released three official photographs from their Wedding day.

For the wedding ceremony Doria wore a Wedgewood green wool crepe dress and coat designed by Oscar de la Renta.
