It’s a British tradition for the paparazzi to gather outside the infamous Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London to photograph a new royal baby, but expectant mom Meghan Markle may do things a little differently! According to Vanity Fair, sources close to the Duchess of Sussex have revealed the former Suits actress is considering a home birth even though both Prince William and her husband Prince Harry were photographed outside the Lindo Wing as newborns, along with William’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Apparently Markle is musing over several different delivery options, with a home birth being one of them.
Vanity Fair is also reporting Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, will play a hands-on-role with helping her daughter once she becomes a new mom and may even move into Harry and Meg’s new digs at Frogmore Cottage.
“Doria plans to be around a lot when the baby arrives, and there are plans for her to have a dedicated space at their new home,” a source told Vanity Fair. “She wants to be on hand to help Harry and Meghan with the baby. Doria will be involved and if she’s involved she will be encouraging Meg to go for a natural birth.”
