Meghan Markle has announced she is set to publish her very first children’s book – and it’s a story inspired by her husband, Prince Harry, and son, Archie.
The Bench is about the special bond between a father and son, CNN reports and will be aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 7.
“Inspired by her own husband and son, The Duchess of Sussex’s debut touchingly captures the evolving and expanding relationship between fathers and sons and reminds us of the many ways that love can take shape and be expressed in a modern family,” a press release said of The Bench.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed the book originally started out as a poem she wrote for Harry on Father’s Day, a month after their son, Archie, was born.
Markle, who is pregnant with her second child, teamed up with award-winning artist Christian Robinson to illustrate the book, which will be available on June 8.
“My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does mine,” Markle said in a press release.
