One man’s decision to purchase a lottery ticket while at the store buying a Slim Jim for his dog has resulted in a win of $10 million!
Seventy-three-year-old Dale Farrand from New York bought a $30 Cash Spectacular scratch-off ticket after buying Slim Jim snacks for his pet dog Boots at his local Cumberland Farms convenience store.
According to the Associated Press Farrand, who will take a lump sum payment of $6.7 million, plans to pay off his mortgage and help out his kids and grandkids.
