Lupita Nyong’o Lights Up the Red Carpet….Literally

Nyong’o, who plays the part of the CGI character Maz Kanata, in the highly-anticipated film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, stunned in a dress that incorporated a sparkling LED light show with flickering, brightly colored lights.
The Academy Award-winning actress explained the inspiration behind the twinkling design to reporters at the event stating, “This is a Zac Posen collaboration with Google for an initiative they have called Made With Code, where they encourage young girls to try out computer science as a possible career, and this is how science can intersect with fashion.”
