Loews Hotels on Wednesday announced the debut of its Free Spirited by Loews Hotels program, which expands hotel bar offerings to include low- and no-alcohol cocktails.
The company, which operates 25 hotels and resorts across the U.S. and Canada, said its commitment to welcoming you like family aims to accommodate guests of all ages, abilities, and lifestyles. With the Free Spirited by Loews Hotels program, the company’s on-site mixologists will craft elevated and bespoke libations for those who choose to imbibe less or not at all.
At Loews Hotels, we recognize that our guests have varying preferences when it comes to beverage choices, and we are dedicated to providing an inclusive and elevated experience for all, Mark Weiss, Senior Vice President Food and Beverage at Loews Hotels & Co, said in a statement. Free Spirited by Loews Hotels underscores our commitment to innovation and guest-centricity, and we are looking forward to showcasing our properties’ mixology teams and their expertise.
The program extends beyond hotel bars, with seamless integration into catering and event planning, and will be included in brand-wide programming such as Loews’ annual Summerfest.
Guests will be able to choose from a curated selection of non-alcoholic beverages that are as thoughtful and intricate as their alcoholic counterparts.
Beverage selections will differ at each property, but examples of alcohol-free drinks include the Boulevard of Broken Dreams at Loews Philadelphia Hotel, which features Barrel-Aged Boulevardier, Lyre’s Whiskey, Aperitif Rosso and Italian orange, and the Pineapple-Matcha-Jito at Live! by Loews – St.Louis, which features house pineapple and tarragon shrub, lime juice, honey syrup, matcha powder and club soda.
Examples of low-alcohol beverages include the Coronado Cobbler at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, which features Amontillado Sherry, lemon juice, agave, Liquid Alchemist Peach Syrup, a dash of Angostura Bitters and a mint sprig, and the Okiru Martini at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, which features Soto Sake, Aplos Arise, lemon juice, cucumber and honey water.
The new low- and no-alcohol beverages will be included on standard cocktail menus, with a clearly marked icon designating low or no ABV.
