Lego to Launch “Women of NASA” Set

Lego are honoring females in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field by unveiling “Women of NASA” Lego sets on November 1.
The collection will feature four trailblazing female NASA scientists. Astronauts Sally Ride and Mae Jemison, computer scientist Margaret Hamilton and astronomer Nancy Grace Roman will be honored with their own Lego figurines and three separate Lego builds that showcase their role in creating space history.
“Explore the professions of some of the groundbreaking women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with the Lego Ideas Women of NASA set,” the company announced. The sets were designed by fan designer and science editor Maia Weinstock and will sell for $24.99.
