Before Arnold Schwarzenegger became an action hero and politician, he was a successful bodybuilder. He began lifting weights at age 15 and won his first Mr. Universe competition at age 20 and won Mr. Olympia seven times.
Actress and dancer Rita Hayworth was the top pin-up girl for GI’s in WWII. Her most notable performance was in the 1946 film, Gilda. This photo was taken at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California in 1940.
Muhammad Ali was one of the most influential athletes of all time. Not only did he achieve fantastic accomplishments inside the boxing ring, but his achievements as a philanthropist and activist during the civil rights movement propelled him to being one of the most significant sports figures of the 20th century.

John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Carrie Fisher pose during filming of the 1980 hit The Blues Brothers. Aykroyd and Fisher were briefly engaged after Aykroyd popped the question during filming. However, the engagement didn’t last after Fisher reconciled with former boyfriend, musician Paul Simon.
Taken just five years before her untimely death, this photo of Marilyn Monroe shows the iconic film star posing in a blue dress, with a pink carnation in her teeth outside her Amagansett, New York home in 1957.
