After a chunky shelter cat’s plight went viral, the 26-pound moggy may have found his forever home!
Mr. B became a viral sensation after carers at Philadelphia’s Morris Animal Refuge dubbed the shelter kitty “a chonk of a chonk” as they turned to social media to help find a home for the portly pussy cat.OMG, big boi Mr. B is a CHONK. The shelter happily revealed via Twitter Mr. B has found a foster (possibly forever) home, tweeting, “Sweet chunky Mr. B’s amazed by the huge outpawing of interest in him – over 3000 applications! According to the shelter, Mr. B does have some underlying and behavioral issues and has been placed with an experienced family.
“We will continue to work with this foster family to help them work through Mr. B’s issues,” Morris Animal Rescue reveals of the tubby tabby’s new foster family. “While the goal is to make this Mr. B’s forever home, the family will be able to provide him with a safe and comfortable environment while we learn more about him and his needs.”
