In March, greeting card company Hallmark announced they would be giving away one million cards for people to send well wishes to those they wanted to connect with during these unprecedented times.
The program was so popular and well received that Hallmark decided to keep the initiative going – this time with a heartfelt twist. Hallmark announced they will now give away 2 million cards for people to send thank you notes to those working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Each card will contain special messages of thanks for the people helping us get through the pandemic, including words of encouragement such as, “You are so Amazing!” and “So Thankful for You!”
“We hope the next 2 million cards allow them to see and feel the gratitude that’s all around them, as well as provide all of us a way to share how grateful we are for everything they are doing,” Lindsey Roy, CMO of Hallmark told People. “A word of thanks can mean a world of difference.”
