Dunkin’ Launching DIY Decorating Kits

For those of us who love to decorate delicious bakery edibles, but lack the skills necessary to whip up the tasty treats at home, Dunkin’ has you covered!
Dunkin’ is giving all of us stuck at home the chance to embrace our inner donut decorator by selling DIY decorating kits at select locations.
Each adorable kit will come complete with donut rings, various types of frosting and different sprinkle colors.
In a press release, the company revealed the idea came about from a Dunkin’ employee who was looking for a way to keep her two nephews entertained while stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The reality of this experience has set in, and we know it’s not going anywhere anytime soon,” Dunkin’ franchisee, Matt Cobo, said in a press release. “Like most parents, we were looking for ways to entertain our kids and bring a little levity to this situation.”
“This is our small way of trying to brighten someone’s day,” said Cobo. “The simple joy of getting to create your own donut can make kids light up, and if we can be a part of creating that moment, that makes us happy.”
