Red Lobster on Monday announced it is shaking things up with Cheddar Bay Breadsticks, a spinoff of their iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
We’ve won over the hearts and stomachs of our guests for more than 30 years with Cheddar Bay Biscuits and it got us thinking – why isn’t there more Cheddar Bay in the world, Sara Bittorf, Chief Experience Officer at Red Lobster, said in a statement. So, we’re introducing a whole new level of ‘dough-liciousness’ to the table and have no doubt our new Cheddar Bay Breadsticks will rise to the occasion.
The restaurant said the new breadstick form is ideal for dunking and devouring.
Butter dunks… Alfredo dunks… Scampi dunks – the new Cheddar Bay Breadsticks are the perfect tool for making sure no sauce is left behind — and nothing is cheddar than that, the restaurant said.
The Cheddar Bay Breadsticks aren’t entirely an April Fool’s Day joke, but there’s a catch.
They will only be available at the Red Lobster location in New York City’s Times Square, and only from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, while supplies last.
