Luxury Italian fashion label Prada has launched an all organic, sustainable denim line – a first for the designer.
The new Pre-Fall collection uses 100 percent cotton from organic farms and is dyed with a special “Acquasave” system, which reduces water usage.
The #PradaGroup dedicates the third episode of #Remix, a series to discover the Prada Group’s DNA, to #Sustainability and its commitment to the ocean.

“To maintain a high level of sustainability, the denim is dyed using the ‘Acquasave’ system, a type of dyeing where the water consumption is well below the standard, thus, allowing a saving of 10 liters of water for each linear meter of fabric,” Prada said in a statement.
The line will include denim shorts, jackets, jeans, dresses, and a denim bralette top.
