Paris Hilton said “yes” after her boyfriend, Carter Reum, popped the question!
According to People, the couple got engaged on February 13th after more than a year of dating.
“This past year with COVID has accelerated so many things. As someone who traveled constantly, I had a chance to stay home and reevaluate what was important to me. My relationship and the time I spent with Carter was a gift,” Hilton said in a statement reported by People. “I’m excited for our next chapter.”
People reports Reum popped the question while they were celebrating Hilton’s 40th birthday on a private island. The engagement ring was designed by Jean Dousset, the great-grandson of Louis Cartier.
“Paris is so excited, and her friends and family are just thrilled for her. Carter is a great guy and after everything she’s been through, the stable kind of love he brings to her life is what she deserves. She’s sure he’s the one,” a source close to the heiress told People.
