Disney+ isn’t about to let the coronavirus pandemic stop us from enjoying some quality entertainment – and this week’s offering is a Disney live-action remake we just can’t wait to see!
The live-action remake of
Mulan will finally hit Disney+ this week after the original March release date was postponed first to July and then postponed once again. Niki Caro directs the Walt Disney remake of the 1998 animated film
Mulan and it features Liu Yifei in the title role. With a budget of $200 million, it’s the most expensive film ever to be directed by a female director!
Originally scheduled to be a theatrical release, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic Disney announced they would release it on their Disney+ streaming service for a premium one-time rental fee of $29.99.
Mulan premiers on September 4th on Disney+.
