Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole Finally Settle on a Cuddly Name for Their Son

Although One Direction’s Liam Payne and singer Cheryl Cole welcomed their first son together on March 22, it seemed like the couple were stumped on what to call their baby.

On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn't have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world. But according to the Daily Mail the couple have finally reached an agreement on what to call baby Payne, after much discussion and a long period of “toing and froing between options”.
A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail they have decided to name their baby Bear Payne.
“They both loved Bear and settled on it a few days ago,” the source revealed to the Daily Mail. “Despite the sleepless nights, the couple are completely smitten with little Bear.”
And it looks like Liam confirmed the new name when he responded to a text from another well known Bear – adventure seeker Bear Grylls.

Bear Grylls took to Twitter to commend them on their unusual name choice, writing, “Great choice! Love & blessings to you guys as you start on the greatest adventure.”
