Jenner Sisters Kendall & Kylie Get Sued

In 2005, Island Company’s clothing line trademarked the phrase, “Quit your job. Buy a ticket. Get a tan. Fall in love. Never return,” according to New York Post’s Page Six. They claim the Jenner sister’s PacSun clothing line contains a motto that they believe is too similar. The phrase “Run away. Fall in love. Never return,” has been incorporated into the line and printed on tank tops.
Island Company has reportedly asked that any clothing with the phrase similar to that of their trademark be removed. They claim, the phrase is “likely to cause confusion, mistake and deception among consumers, the public and the trade among consumers, the public and the trade as to whether defendants’ products or services are affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by plaintiff.”
No comment has been made by either party.
