Drake’s Introduces New Boston Creme Yodels

Drake’s on Monday announced that by popular demand, its Yodels snack cakes now come in Boston Creme flavor.
Boston Creme pie is the top flavor profile requested by Drake’s fans Chip Stenberg, Drake’s associate brand manager, said in a statement. Delivering this classic American dessert flavor in the casual, on-the-go, Yodels format is sure to delight new and existing Drake’s fans … no fork necessary!
The brand’s classic Yodels feature devil’s food cake rolled around vanilla creme and enrobed in chocolate icing.
The new Boston Creme version features a golden cake rolled around Boston Creme-flavored creme and enrobed in a dark fudge icing.
Drake’s Cakes was founded in New York City in 1896, and produces iconic snack cakes including Devil Dogs, Ring Dings, Coffee Cakes, Funny Bones, Yankee Doodles and Yodels. The bakery is now owned by McKee Foods, which also produces Little Debbie baked goods.
Drake’s Boston Creme Yodels will be available supermarkets, supercenters, value retailers and convenience stores throughout the Eastern U.S.
