Demi Lovato Breaks Silence

It’s been nearly two weeks since singer Demi Lovato was rushed to hospital following an overdose and fortunately the Sorry Not Sorry star has recovered enough to give fans an update via Instagram.
Before the incident, Demi revealed she had relapsed following six years of sobriety addressing her struggles in the June release of her new song Sober.
After recovered at a Los Angeles hospital, Demi took to Instagram on Sunday candidly telling fans, “I will keep fighting.”

In the post Demi reveals, “I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learnt is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.”
In the heartfelt letter, Demi credits God with “keeping me alive and well” and thanks her fans for their love and support, writing, “your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this difficult time.”
As for the road ahead Demi writes, “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side….I will keep fighting.”
