Coca-Cola announced a new permanent flavor will be joining its soda lineup: Coca-Cola Spiced.
Coca-Cola Spiced features a unique alchemy of our iconic cola, raspberry and spiced flavors, the company said. The brand noted that despite being called spiced, the new beverage doesn’t pack any heat. Drinkers will taste a burst of refreshing raspberry flavors and spiced notes.
The new soda will be available at retailers nationwide beginning on Feb. 19, and will come in a variety of formats, including 20-ounce bottles, 12-ounce sleek cans, 12-ounce 12-packs, 10-pack mini cans, 2-liter bottles and more.
Coca-Cola Spiced Zero Sugar will also be available in 12-ounce sleek cans, 12-ounce 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles.
The new member of the Coke lineup is the first permanent flavor introduced by the brand in three years.
The brand also periodically introduces limited-edition Creations, and fans can register online through Feb. 19 to receive an early access presale code for the next Creation.
In September, the company launched the limited-edition Coca-Cola Y3000, a bright, fruity, soda co-created by artificial intelligence and fan inputs.
The concept was based on what a Coke from the future might taste like, according to Oana Vlad, Senior Director of Global Strategy at The Coca‑Cola Company.
“We hope that Coca‑Cola will still be as relevant and refreshing in the year 3000 as it is today, she said.
