The
Hollywood Reporter is reporting a deal with Netflix is in the works that will see Chris Hemsworth play Hulk Hogan in a biopic about the wrestling legend.
According to the publication, the biopic will focus on Hogan’s rise and the origins of Hulkster and Hulkamania.
The Netflix movie will bring the director, Todd Phillips, and writer, Scott Silver, of the upcoming DC Comics movie
The Joker back together again, and will be produced by Academy Award winner, Michael Sugar, and Phillips and Bradley Cooper under their banner, Joint Effort. Hemsworth and Eric Bischoff are also listed as producers.
According to the
Hollywood Reporter, Hulk Hogan – born Terry Gene Bollea – will reportedly act as a consultant for the movie, as well as executive producer.
