Build-A-Bear to Sell Adorable Baby Yoda Character

There’s another reason to visit your nearest Build-A-Bear Workshop location – especially if you’re a die-hard Mandalorian fan – the chance to take home your very own Baby Yoda!

Build-A-Bear CEO Sharon Price John announced the company will debut an adorable Baby Yoda plush over the next few months, revealing, “I’m excited to share we will be one of the first companies to provide the digital and internet phenomenon, who is trending higher than all the presidential candidates combined … We now will have The Child, also known as Baby Yoda!”


Baby Yoda instantly became a sought-after fan favorite after The Mandalorian debuted on Disney Plus in November.

According to Woods, Build-A-Bear teamed up with Disney and Lucasfilms during the first episode of The Mandalorian to quickly make the Baby Yoda character a reality.
