Amazon Reports Record-Breaking Bumper Holiday Season

The 2017 holiday shopping season has been a record breaker for Amazon, which is calling the season its biggest ever.

Who needs to snoop for Christmas presents in 2017 when you can just look at the orders on your family’s amazon account?

During the space of just one week over 4 million people became Prime members, or signed up for a free trial. Sales of Amazon devices were also the best yet, thanks in part to slashed prices on the popular Kindle Fire tablets and Echo Dot.

Thinking today about all of the children in 2017 who will just scroll through their family's amazon orders instead of taking an adventure to look in mom's closet to see their presents early.

Amazon also revealed purchases made via their Amazon app increased by nearly 70 percent this holiday season, compared to previous years cementing the fact more people feel comfortable ordering items via mobile devices than ever before.

Topping the list of most popular gifts purchased via Amazon this year include robot vacuums, Instant Pot cookers, WowWee Fingerlings toys and the 23andMe DNA test.
