Miley Cyrus Recovering from Vocal Cord Surgery

Miley Cyrus is taking it easy after undergoing vocal chord surgery and will reportedly have to keep quiet for at least a couple of weeks while resting her throat.
The 26-year-old was hospitalized last month with tonsillitis when doctors discovered a separate issue with her vocal cords requiring surgery.
A source close to the Malibu singer told People Miley is “doing great and will be back better than ever early next year.”
Miley joins a growing list of singers, including Celine Dion, Adele, Sam Smith, and Keith Urban, who have all undergone vocal cord surgery.

According to several media outlets, Miley’s new boyfriend – singer, Cody Simpson – has been by her side during recovery.
