Kim Kardashian Under Fire for Promoting Appetite Suppressant Lollipop

Kim Kardashian has come under fire for promoting an appetite suppressing lollipop in a sponsored ad she shared on Instagram.
The lollipop is from the Flat Tummy Co. who promise the lollipop can suppress users appetites through the use of saffron extracted ingredient Satiereal.

In the Instagram post, Kim captions the shot of her seductively sucking the lollipop with the hashtag “#suckit” and writes, “You guys…@flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal.”
Kim’s post garnered backlash on social media, including The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil, who called out the KUWTK star on Twitter, tweeting, “You terrible and toxic influence on young girls. I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to.”
Many followers of Kim on Instagram expressed similar concern with one following writing, “What an absolute load of rubbish! Don’t worry about doing exercise or eating a balanced diet…just eat lollipops. That’ll do it. Very irresponsible.”
Another of Kim’s followers wrote, “Don’t abuse your power of 111 million followers to promote things that are harmful to a younger generation.”
Many of Kim’s Instagram followers called her out on the post and urged her to stop promoting eating disorders.
