“I just felt like I wanted a little bit of a break. I’m always on it,” the 21-year-old revealed. “I would wake up in the morning and look at it first thing; I would go to bed and it was the last thing I would look at. I felt a little too dependent on it. So I kind of wanted to take a minute to detox.”
Jenner, whose big sister, Kim Kardashian, has also taken a break from social media since her frightening Paris robbery, told Ellen that she will probably reactivate her account in the future. However, she told viewers at the moment she is really enjoying her break from the social app, confiding, “It’s kind of a nice, refreshing feeling. I’m away from my phone so much more. You start to engage, in like, real life.”
