When it comes to tackling some of the biggest songs in history, Kelly Clarkson isn’t afraid to put her own powerful vocal spin on the iconic hits. Yet there is one song the former American Idol winner refuses to cover.
Appearing alongside her The Voice team advisor – Latin superstar Luis Fonsi – Clarkson revealed his signature hit is one even she is afraid to cover. “I just realized something,” Clarkson revealed during the pre-taped Battle Rounds rehearsal. “You have the one song in history I’m afraid to cover, ‘Despacito.’ And I have practiced so hard because I love singing in Spanish, or in just different languages.”
“And it’s like the biggest song of all time. I’m kind of like, ‘You know what? I’m going to leave that alone,” Clarkson admitted.
