Who knew pantsuit-wearing Hillary Clinton would set a trend with her favorite “go-to” piece! However the “must have” pantsuit for Fall has been upgraded from boardroom conservative to downright glamorous, with plunging necklines, feminine tailoring and a wide array of different fabrics. Pantsuits have been a staple for strong confident women through the ages – think Katherine Hepburn’s flowing pants in the 1940’s and Whitney Houston in the iconic pin-striped number she wore for the I Will Always Love You music video! For the pantsuit-loving women out there, it looks like this trend is here to stay.

The 90’s fashion icon has been revamped for 2016 with chokers made of leather, lace, silk, velvet and rhinestones popping up everywhere. Adorn your neck this Fall with a skinny choker, or something bold for a more eye-catching look. Just remember a thicker choker will make a neck look shorter, so opt for a skinnier version if you want your neck to appear longer.

Whether real or faux, cooler Fall temperatures call for something cozy and statement fur has been popping up in the windows of high street retailers everywhere. If donning a fur coat is not your style, the trend is easily incorporated by adding a fur scarf, hat, or fur-adorned purse instead.

You don’t have to be a 14-year-old schoolgirl to wear this trend! As long as you keep the style of the knee high boot sock relatively neutral you can pull off this very practical – and warm – Fall favorite. Try and match the color of your sock to the color of your boot to make legs appear slimmer and longer, and avoid socks topped with an abundance of lace and sparkles if you want a more classic look.
