Dunkin’ Donuts is slimming down by chopping the ‘Donuts’ portion from its name.
Not to fret though – the coffee and donut chain will still offer their famous doughnuts, but will instead be known only by Dunkin’.

In a social media post, the restaurant revealed, “After 68 years of America running on Dunkin’, we’re moving to a first-name basis. Excited to be #BFFstatus with you all.”
The name change will go into effect in January 2019 as it moves towards becoming more of a beverage retailer.
I mean, they've been using the slogan America Runs On DUNKIN' for so long know, it only makes sense.
