Demi Lovato Reveals DNA Tests on Twitter

Demi Lovato took to Twitter to share the results of her DNA test – her ancestry DNA that is.
The test, which is growing in popularity for people who want to delve deeper into their heritage, turned up a few surprises for the 24-year-old singer.

I did a DNA test and found out I'm mainly Spanish, with Native American, SCANDINAVIAN (which I had NO idea), Irish, BRITISH….

The ancestry DNA test, which is easy to order online, broke down Demi’s chart – something she happily shared on social media.

The DNA test works by the user sending a small saliva sample off for testing. It gets analyzed at more that 700,000 genetic markers and users can expect their results within 6 – 8 weeks depending on demand.
